When I started in real estate nearly 11 years ago, the idea of having to "sell" anything to anyone was deeply uncomfortable.

I had zero desire to learn sales tactics or talk anyone into buying anything (let alone a HOUSE). I had just gone through the home-buying process myself and would not have appreciated feeling any pressure from my agent. 

I knew I was going to approach my career how I approach every relationship in my life: care for people, put their needs first, and do what I can to make their lives better and easier. I didn’t want to spend all my time on marketing plans and advertisements and selling myself. I wanted to take such great care of people that clients would enthusiastically recommend me to their friends, loved ones, and acquaintances. And it’s been the best decision I’ve ever made. 

At 1838, almost every new client finds us because someone they know trusts us and recommends us. We don’t spend precious time trying to attract new business or promoting ourselves. We dedicate ourselves fully to the work that benefits and protects you, and focus on delivering truly exceptional service. Our relationships will always be more important than a transaction.
